Passengers from repatriation flight leave Pullman Adelaide hotel quarantine

About 280 people who flew into Adelaide on-board a repatriation flight from India two weeks ago are leaving mandatory hotel quarantine today.
There were joyful scenes as families smiled, embraced and took selfies after exiting the hotel.
The passengers undertook their two-week quarantine in the Pullman Adelaide hotel in the city and were tested for coronavirus on day one and day 12.
Three active cases were recorded amongst the passengers however all have been cleared since then.
Those who live in South Australia can simply walk from the hotel while people from interstate are being taken by bus to Adelaide Airport to fly home.
It’s understood other passengers were being driven back to their homes on the east coast.
About 120 passengers touched down in Adelaide from Kuala Lumpur last weekend.
They are continuing their 14-day hotel quarantine.
There are no active cases of COVID-19 in SA.
A total of 443 cases have been reported in the state since the start of the pandemic and four people have died from the virus.
