Paringa houseboat worker suffers facial burns in generator explosion
A man working on a houseboat in Paringa will be flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital after suffering serious facial burns in an incident involving a generator.

A man working on a houseboat in the Riverlands has suffered serious burns to his face and is expected to be flown to hospital.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Paringa after 10.15am after reports of an explosion.
South Australian Ambulance Service treated two people at the scene, including a 54-year-old man with facial injuries.
He was listed in a serious condition and initially taken to the local Berri Hospital.
SAPOL said the man was expected to be flown to Adelaide for further treatment.
A second person was also taken to Berri Hospital, but their injuries were unknown.
SAPOL said SafeWork SA have been advised of the incident.
It is understood the man’s injuries were suffered as a result of a generator on a houseboat exploding.
It was undergoing maintenance at the time.
