Paralowie: Police investigate links after police officer hit by car before man found unconscious
Footage has revealed the sickening moment a police officer was seriously injured after being hit by a fleeing driver at Paralowie.

A police officer was rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car which then sped off during a dramatic evening at Paralowie.
Thirty minutes later, a man was found unconscious and critically injured in a nearby alleyway, and an investigation has been launched into possible links in the events.
The hit-run crash was captured on video obtained by 9 News, with the police officer suffering serious injuries in the incident.
Police tried to stop a blue Ford Falcon sedan on Mildara Ave about 9pm Monday but it sped off.
Police followed the car on to a cul-de-sac at Tolley Close and two police officers got out of their vehicles to talk to the driver, who refused to stop.
The suspect then did a U-turn and tried to drive between the two parked patrol cars where the officers were standing.
One officer was able to move away but the other was hit by the vehicle before it sped off, causing severe bruising to his leg.
He was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital for treatment.
The Ford was located a short time later abandoned on Kalimna Crescent.
About half an hour later, police received a reports of a man found unconscious in an alleyway off of nearby Cawarra Crescent.
Witnesses said the man had tried to open the resident’s roller door before walking off into the alleyway.
The Elizabeth East man, 36, was rushed to the hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
It is not yet known how the man suffered his injuries.
Police are investigating links between the hit-run crash and the man found in the alley.
Forensic crime scene investigators and Major Crash investigators attended the scene.
