37/42As if this battle for the ball wasn’t already complicated, a “mystery” Norwood player also came “into the act” during this SANFL match between Glenelg and Norwood in June 1968. This made it three to one against Glenelg captain-coach Neil Kerley (centre), who had his hands full with rival captain-coach Bob Oatey (left), whose left boot appears to have contacted the ball, and full forward Bob Kingston. The third Norwood player is hidden behind Kerley.
