Multiple emergency crews respond to Mount Barker building site
A man who was trapped under a tipper trailer of a truck that rolled on a construction site has been freed.

A man has been freed from a rolled tipper truck at a building site in Mount Barker.
The worker became trapped inside the truck when it rolled at the worksite on Devon St about 9.20am.
It is understood the truck was carting road base for a new housing estate when the vehicle lost control and rolled.
The man, aged in his 40s, suffered serious injuries in the incident and has been taken to Flinders Medical Centre.
He was in a serious condition.
A delicate rescue operation was launched including heavy machinery to lift the overturned trailer and free him.
Two excavators were used in the rescue mission to lift the box off the truck cabin.
Multiple emergency services crews including three MFS units responded to the incident.
He was released about 11.30am, and is being assessed by paramedics.
SafeWork SA said inspectors were sent to the scene to “make inquiries”.
“SafeWork SA has been notified of an incident involving a man trapped inside a vehicle at a construction site off Paech Road, Mount Barker,” a spokesman said.
