A motorcyclist has been killed after crashing into a bus stop in Salisbury East, in Adelaide’s north.

An 18-year-old motorcyclist has been killed after crashing into a bus stop in Salisbury East.

Paramedics and SA Police were called to the scene of the serious crash on Bridge Road, between McIntyre and Melville roads, at about 11.45am.

Emergency services tried to revive the man, but he died at the scene

Bridge Road has been closed as Major Crash Investigators check the area.

SA Police ask motorists to avoid the area.

The death takes the road toll to eight, compared to five at the same time last year.
