Morphett Vale woman allegedly caught with homemade firearm to face court
An Adelaide woman has been charged after police allege a search of her house found a homemade gun, ammunition, and illicit drugs – amid a Chanel moisturiser container.

A Morphett Vale woman allegedly caught keeping a homemade gun at her property will face court on Monday.
Police searched her home around 9pm on Saturday following an investigation and allegedly found a homemade firearm, ammunition, and illicit drugs.
The 41-year-old occupant was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm without a licence, possessing ammunition, possessing a controlled drug and drug trafficking.
Police photos show the firearm lying in a drawer, near toiletries and skincare products – including an old container of luxury Chanel moisturiser that sells for as much as $200.
She was refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
On Monday, police said a 26-year-old man from the address had also been arrested and charged.
The man has been charged with possess a dangerous article, possess ammunition without a licence, possess controlled drug and breach of bail.
He was bailed to appear at Christies Beach Magistrates Court in February.
