More sharks have been reported in the shallow waters across Adelaide with yet another one spotted at Aldinga Beach just 50m off-shore, right out the front of the Pearl Restaurant.
The sighting, just after 4.20pm on Tuesday, came just hours after n “unknown species” about three-metres long can be seen swishing its tail and swimming about five to 10 metres offshore at Normanville Beach.
Videos of the sightings were posted on Shark Watch SA’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
“We’re struggling to keep up, today, with all these shark sightings,” Shark Watch SA posted on Tuesdsay evening.
“We’re just wondering whether a shark of similar size seen at Seaford and later at Maslin’s has now made its way to Aldinga, as seen in the clip here?”
Comments suggest the sighting would likely be a different shark and posters offered reasons as to why the sharks might be so close to the shroe.
“Judging by your comments, looks like there’s plenty of salmon schools for these fishy friends to munch on, at the moment,” Shark Watch SA posted.
The first sighting was spotted at 2:30pm on Tuesday, with the page suggesting that it was the same shark seen swimming along the coastline in recent weeks.
“Mystery Bruce is back. This time his towering fin was caught prowling the shallows between Carrickalinga Beach and Normanville Beach,” the post read.
“Could this be the same (Great White) Pointer seen at Maslin’s and Aldinga over the past few weeks?
“We have our drone operator, Michael, on his way to do some investigating. Stay tuned.”
