A man has been taken to hospital with stab wounds on Tuesday after foiling an alleged home invasion attempt.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the victim’s house at Allen Road, Tiddy Widdy Beach, just after 4.45pm following reports of a man armed with a knife.
An SA Police spokesman said officers arrested a 29-year-old Ardrossan man but it is unclear if the pair were known to each other.
After being treated by paramedics at the scene, the victim was flown to Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The alleged stabber is expected to be charged with assault and other offences late on Tuesday.
