A woman has been arrested and charged over a chopstick stabbing that has left an Adelaide man fighting for life.
Emergency services were called to a block of Housing Trust flats on Park Tce, Gilberton, just after 4.30pm on Friday amid reports of a stabbing.
Paramedics treated the alleged victim, 26, at the scene after finding a chopstick penetrating the left side of his chest.
He was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition with life-threatening chest injuries after emergency surgery.
Eastern Area detectives spoke to a Camden Park woman, 25, at the scene before arresting her for breaching bail
On Saturday, she was further charged with aggravated recklessly cause harm. She was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
Detectives doorknocked neighbours and spoke to witnesses.
The police investigation is ongoing. The pair were known to each other, police aid.
