Man in critical condition in hospital after being found unconscious in water at Semaphore Beach
A man found in the water at Semaphore Beach has been rushed to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

A 58-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was pulled unconscious from the water at Semaphore beach.
The man was found face-down in the water, near the Semaphore jetty, around 8pm on Sunday.
MedStar, the SA Ambulance Service’s rescue and retrieval team, airlifted him to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
An SA Health spokeswoman said the man arrived in a critical condition.
Last month, an inquest into the death of three children at Glenelg beach recommended that surf lifesaving hours at the beach be extended.
Surf Life Saving SA chief executive Damien Marangon said people needed to be better educated about water safety.
