Man in court charged with manslaughter over West Tce alleged road rage attack
A man has fronted court charged with manslaughter after an alleged city road rage attack that cost the life of Brian Richardson.

A man has faced court charged with manslaughter after an alleged city road rage attack that left an elderly man dead.
Police say the occupants of an orange Honda sedan and a taxi were involved in a physical altercation on West Tce on Friday April 1 about 6.50pm.
On Wednesday, Francois Joseph Ghassibe faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court charged with the manslaughter of Brian Richardson.
The passenger in the rear of the taxi got out of the car and assaulted the Mr Richardson and the taxi drove off, police say.
Witnesses were able to get the taxi’s registration and patrols found the suspect shortly after.
Mr Richardson, 70, of Cheltenham, was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious head injuries.
He died of those injuries in hospital on Tuesday, 12 days after the attack.
Mr Ghassibe, from Mansfield Park, 30, was initially arrested and charged with assault, and was bailed to appear in court in May.
Following the victim’s death, his bail was revoked and the charges were upgraded to manslaughter.
He did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody to face court again in August.
