Man arrested after wild police chase through several Adelaide suburbs
A wild cross-city police chase involving a helicopter and road spikes has come to an end in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs.

A 33-year-old man from Semaphore Park has been arrested after a wild car pursuit through several Adelaide suburbs.
Police attempted to stop a silver Mitsubishi Lancer sedan on Hanson Rd at Woodville North just after 10.30am on Friday.
The driver refused to stop and sped off.
PolAir, which was overhead at the time, tracked the car as it travelled east on Torrens Rd through Brompton.
The car continued to travel around the city before it travelled on the wrong side of West Tce and through red lights.

The Mitsubishi was tracked into Glenside where police successfully spiked the cars tyres on Conyngham St.
The car continued driving through the streets of Glenside on it’s rims before heading east on Greenhill Rd toward Burnside.
The car eventually stopped and the driver was arrested without incident.
Inquiries are being made into whether the car was stolen.
The Mitsubishi was reported to have been in a collision with a taxi on Port Rd but no injuries were reported.
The man was charged with a number of offences including driving without due care, driving disqualified, driving dangerously to escape police pursuit and driving at a dangerous speed.
He did not apply for bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
