Man, 66, reported for possession of firearms, crossbow and arrows at Murray Town
A 66-year-old SA man has been reported after police seized about 30 firearms from his remote home – including one gun allegedly found loaded under his bed.

A 66-year-old man will face court after police seized about 30 firearms from his property, one of which was found allegedly loaded under his mattress.
On Sunday, about 6pm, police went to a Murray Town property to carry out a firearms inquiry.
Police say officers found seven unsecured firearms, including one loaded with ammunition and stored under a mattress.
Further investigation revealed another 23 firearms as well as ammunition, body armour, combat knives, a crossbow and arrows, police say. All those firearms were seized by police.
The man has been reported for three counts of possessing prohibited weapon and multiple counts of contravening the code of practice of the Firearms Act.
He will be summonsed to the Port Pirie Magistrates Court at a later date.
A 58-year-old woman was also reported for hindering police at the scene and received a caution.
