A young man from Naracoorte has lost his life after a motorcycle crash in South Australia’s South East.

Majority of Australians likely to go on a road trip to reconnect with family

A 24-year-old Naracoorte man has died after his motorcycle collided with a tree on a private property in South Australia’s South-East.

Emergency services attended the Western Flat property on Sunday at 2.50pm after the crash.

The man could not be saved despite the efforts of medical personnel and police are preparing a report for the Coroner in relation to the circumstances surrounding his death.

Because the incident occurred on a private property his death has not been recorded on the state’s road toll.

There were five fatalities on SA roads in July compared to nine in the same period last year. The road toll for 2022 is currently 43 which is 16 less than at this time 12 months ago.
