Man, 23, arrested and charged following motorcycle robbery in Elizabeth Vale

A northern suburbs man has been arrested following the theft of a motorcycle.

A 23-year-old Elizabeth Vale man will face court following a motorcycle robbery in Adelaide’s north on Tuesday.

It comes after a man reportedly had his red Honda motorcycle stolen by two suspects who approached him on another motorcycle and then rode away with both vehicles.

Police were called to John Rice Ave in Elizabeth Valeas midday following reports of the incident.

Officers then found the stolen motorcycle abandoned near a creek bed in Harry Bowey Reserve.

“Investigations led police to an Elizabeth Vale address where police arrested a suspect,” police said in a statement.

The Elizabeth Vale man was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and riding unlicensed.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
