A young man was attached with a knife during an aggravated assault at a Smithfield home.
Police were notified of the assault on Morialta Dr just after 6.30pm on Friday.
A man, 20, was found at the scene with knife wounds to his face, and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation followed, that led to the arrest of an Elizabeth South boy, 16, who was charged with aggravated assault.
He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
The man and the teen were known to each other.
