LIV Golf’s Ripper GC team launches the Ripper House in Medindie, with VIP guests including Bec Judd, Karl Stefanovic and Travis Fimmel

You’ve heard of LIV Golf’s Watering Hole? Now the tour’s Australian team has launched a lavish party house at an exclusive Adelaide address – complete with a star-studded guest list.

A multimillion-dollar Adelaide residence is playing host to Australia’s rich and famous this weekend thanks to LIV Golf.

The Ripper House, on Robe Tce in Medindie, is a glamorous, invite-only party venue launched for this year’s LIV Adelaide tournament by Australian team Ripper GC.

Some of the country’s biggest names in sport, entertainment and fashion, led by Karl Stefanovic, Rebecca Judd, Travis Fimmel, Michael Klim and Jordan Stenmark, have been flown to Adelaide to enjoy three days of golf and events at the lavish home.

A first-of-its-kind for the global tour, the Ripper GC-sponsored home is designed to be an “extension” of the daily 18 holes at Grange.

A-list guests stay at a luxury city hotel and each day are transported between Grange Golf Course and the Medindie home, which is valued at about $10 million.

There are three exclusive events at the Ripper House over the weekend, with stars treated to an extravagant roaming menu by renowned Australian chef David Moyle. Offerings include blue swimmer crab meat fried rice, wallaby rissole sandwich and Streaky Bay oysters.

Local mixologist Lachlan Gunner and his team serve up custom cocktails at the home’s ‘sandtrap bar’ including an Adelaide negroni, an AB sour and a spicy margherita.

There’s also an immersive golf simulator experience and mini golf holes, while resident DJ Harvey Miller is on the decks throughout the day.

Other VIP guests include actors Josh Heuston and Peter Thurnwald, Australian influencer Sophia Begg, and fashion designers Nikki Campbell and Sophie Coote.

Ripper GC’s star golfers, led by Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman, are expected to rub shoulders with the elite guest list at the home following Sunday’s final day.

A Ripper GC press release said the venue was about taking LIV’s “golf, but louder” philosophy off the course.

“The Ripper House brings a fresh approach to how guests experience golf in Australia,” the release said.

“(It’s) redefining the sports experience with an offcourse event that blends golf, premium South Australian food and beverage, and entertainment.”
