Ice pipes and Lego: Police build case against Kilburn woman

Police are building the case against a Kilburn woman who allegedly moved into the driver’s seat of a BMW containing drug paraphernalia and kid’s toys, after being pulled over by police.

CCTV released after Parafield Gardens robbery

A woman will face court after police allege they found ice pipes and Lego in her car at Prospect on Friday morning.

Just after midnight emergency services were driving along Regency Rd when they spotted a black BMW travelling east.

Patrols followed the car into the backstreets of Prospect where they attempted to pull it over. When the car eventually came to a stop on Charles St, the driver of the vehicle allegedly ran.

Police were left to speak to the second person in the car, a 35-year-old Kilburn woman who they allege had moved to the driver’s seat.

Police searched the vehicle and inside located two ice pipes, a bank card suspected of having been stolen and 11 brand new sets of Lego in a garden waste bag.

The woman was reported for failing to truly answer questions to identify the driver of the motor vehicle, unlawful possession and possessing equipment.

She will appear in court at a later date.

The investigation into the whereabouts and identity of the man remains ongoing.
