Young father of three Jayden Sapwell was always destined to be a dad, because of the amount of ‘dad jokes’ he told before his children were even born.
The 24-year-old Evanston man died in a motorcycle crash on Hindmarsh Boulevard at Evanston, on Friday, August 28.
He was remembered by friends at his funeral on Tuesday as a fearless man who was taken too soon.
In a heartbreaking tribute, his sister Ellysha Sapwell told of the special relationship she and her brother shared.
“You were the big brother who drove me up the wall one minute and made me so angry, but literally seconds later you had me in fits of laughter,” Miss Sapwell said.
She said her brother was always the life of the party, who lived his life to the fullest.
“You made me grow up not being afraid of the world, because you never were.
“You were fearless, and always right behind me from the moment I was born.”
Mr Sapwell left behind three young children, Summer, Skylah and Sebastian, and his loving fiance, Shanna Cartwright.
He was one of five siblings, including Ellysha, Joni, Kade and Danika.
Miss Sapwell said her brother always loved making dad jokes.
“You were destined to be a dad with those jokes, and you made a good one.”
She said her brother could never be replaced.

“You were always proud of your little sister … and I will continue to make you proud every day until I see you again.”
Mr Sapwell worked as a butcher, most recently at Holco Fine Meat Suppliers at Cavan.
He loved dirt bikes, cars, listening to music loudly, having a drink with friends, and being a dad.
His mother Tracey said Mr Sapwell only had two speeds growing up – fast and faster.
“You loved to laugh and you were always there for everyone, you were always there for me,” Tracey said.
“Every time I need you, I will see you in each of your beautiful kids, every time I miss you I will look into my heart and there you will be.
“I miss you my baby boy … and know how much I love you and always will.”
A close friend, Michael, spoke through tears about his friend.
“I’ll never forget the memories, there are so many I don't even know where to start,” Michael said.
“Have fun riding the skies brother, have a drink for us ready, I’ll be a while but I’ll be there one day.”
