The annual Schoolies Festival at Victor Harbor has long been considered a rite of passage for newly-graduated year 12 students.
Despite being promoted as an alcohol-free event, tongue-in-cheek singlets inspired by popular booze brands labels have become a fashion staple at the festival in recent years.
From Corona to VB, leavers put their own spin on some of the country’s iconic logos while paying homage to their respective alma mater.
Scroll down to see what the Class of 2024 wore this year.
Xavier College
Students from the catholic school wore custom tops resembling the Johnnie Walker logo with the slogan: In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirits.
Unity College
Unity College students put their own Murraylands twist on Malibu White Rum’s ingredient list, swapping out Caribbean Rum for Murray River water.
St Mark’s College
St Mark’s emulated Aussie comedian’s Matt Ford and Jack Steele popular zero carb beer, swapping out the actual nutrition facts for things like how much wine they’ve consumed and distance travelled.
Victor Harbor High School
Being from a coastal town, its unsurprising Victor Harbor High School students were drawn to Queensland beer Great Northern’s iconic marlin mascot, swapping out ‘Northern’ for ‘Southern’ instead.
Concordia College
Perhaps inspired by their school’s elite status, Concordia College students modelled their tops off Corona Extra, complete with the gold crown.
Mannum Community College
With both Mannum Community College and Victoria Bitter featuring dark green in their logos, the pairing was a no-brainer.
St Michael’s College
Graduates from St Mic’s also opted for the Corona Extra design with subtle nods to their alma mater, featuring its crest and motto: Quis ut Deus, which translates to ‘Who is like God?’ in Latin.
