Gold Medalist killed on Adelaide road

The tragic death of Kieran Modra, fatally struck by a car on Wednesday while riding his bike near Gawler, sparked a wave of emotion across the state.

Modra, a five-time Paralympic gold medallist, was cycling toward the Tanunda home of his uncle and biographer, Andy Thurlow, when he was hit on the Sturt Hwy.
