Horrific collision causes car to rollover in accident caught on video

A dashcam video has captured of a massive car rollover on a major Adelaide thoroughfare.

Shocking dashcam footage has emerged which captures a car rollover on a major western suburbs thoroughfare.

The footage depicted an Isuzu MUX travelling along Port Rd, at the intersection with Grand Junction Rd, before a Mazda 3 sedan turning right against a red light collided with the vehicle.

The video, captured at about 3pm on May 5 and posted to Facebook by Dashcams Adelaide, showed the hit to the back right hand side of the Isuzu, which caused it to rollover.

The vehicle continues to roll before coming to a rest on its side by the median strip.

Three men in high-vis shirts could then be seen running towards the wrecked Isuzu.

In the video, the driver of the sedan could be seen exiting the vehicle, while no one exits the Isuzu.

SA Police confirmed that both the driver and passenger of the Isuzu were taken to hospital as a precaution.

The 54-year-old male driver of the Mazda, from Two Wells, was issued with an expiation notice for entering an intersection against a red arrow.

He was fined $658 and given three demerit points.
