Hillcrest man, 49, charged over attempted drug trafficking
A 49-year-old man has been charged after serious and organised crime detectives allegedly found him holding a lot of illegal items.

A man has appeared in court after he was found to be in possession of 10kg of methamphetamine.
On April 6, investigators from the Serious and Organised Branch attended a Hillcrest address as part of an ongoing investigation into the importation of methamphetamine.
It is alleged that officers located 10kg of the drug, along with cash, stolen identification, documents and clandestine laboratory equipment.
A 49-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted trafficking of a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, using false identification to commit a serious offence and trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.
He is expected to appear in court again next week.
It comes a week after a South Australian police officer was arrested and charged with five counts of trafficking a controlled drug.
The 37-year-old man’s arrest comes after an investigation by SAPOL’s anti-corruption section.
The man, from the western suburbs, has been granted bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on June 14.
Police said they will be making no further comment.
