Helicopter lands in carpark of Burnside Village shopping centre
The shopping centre has now explained why a helicopter touched down in its carpark on Sunday morning.

Patrons of Burnside Village may have been left rubbing their eyes on Sunday morning at the sight of a helicopter landing in the carpark of their local shopping centre.
At around 8.50am a helicopter flying from Parafield Airport was seen landing in the carpark of the eastern suburbs centre which currently undergoing a major expansion.
It was organised by the centre’s owner Andrew Cohen as part of redevelopment works at the centre.
Mr Cohen told The Advertiser the helicopter, was a “heli-lift” which is “used to lift plant and equipment”.
“This isn’t the first time we’ve done this,” he said.
The heli-lift’s landing is another step in the expansion of the centre which is set to include 80 additional store and double the footprint of Burnside Village to 38,850 square metres.
There will also be over 560 free undercover carparks and E-vehicle charging.
The helicopter is registered to privately owned aviation company Aerotech Aircraft Holdings Pty Ltd.
The company’s website says it focuses on “delivering innovative airborne solutions to everyday problems across a broad range of sectors”.
