Halifax St crash victim Faishal Mahdi fighting for life identified
A man injured in a horror crash on a busy city street has been identified as a beloved member of an Adelaide community.

The cyclist who reportedly collided with a truck tray on Halifax St, has been identified as Faishal Mahdi.
The incident on Thursday, March 6, left the beloved member of the Adelaide Indonesian community fighting for his life in the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Mr Mahdi is in a coma in a critical condition.
The admin wrote: “Please pray that Faishal is given strength to recover and that his family is granted patience and strength in facing this hardship”.
Multiple witnesses reported the aftermath of the collision to The Advertiser, claiming Mr Mahdi, who is believed to be a delivery rider, collided with a stationary truck’s loading tray near the corner of Halifax St and Surflen St.
Local city resident Zoe Townsend said when she arrived at the scene she saw Mr Mahdi on the ground.
“There was a river of blood coming out and he had a big gash on his neck,” she said.
Police said the truck driver was assisting them with inquiries and the investigation was ongoing.
No charges have been laid.
Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident to call police assistance on 131 444.
