A meth-positive driver has been reported after he lost control of his car – and crashed into trees, a Stobie pole, a fence and took out a gas meter.
Just before 9am on Wednesday, police and ambulance crews were called to a house on Farr Terrace in Glenelg East after reports a black Holden sedan had crashed into a front yard.

Police say the driver also rammed into the home’s gas meter and knocked down a tree before the brick fence stopped him in his path.
Officers drug-tested a 48-year-old Glenelg North man behind the wheel, who returned a positive reading for methamphetamine.
He has been reported for aggravated driving without due care, and immediately lost his licence.
Police said he may face further charges once the drug test sample has been analysed.
No injuries were reported from the crash.
