Girl, 7, taken to Flinders Medical Centre following medical incident at pool in North Brighton

Emergency services have responded to two separate incidents at swimming pools across the city.

A young girl has been taken to hospital after suffering a medical incident while swimming in a pool at North Brighton.

Paramedics were called to disability services and support organisation Minda just before 3.30pm on Tuesday.

The seven-year-old girl has been taken to Flinders Medical Centre following the incident.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man has been found unresponsive in a swimming pool at Coromandel Valley.

Emergency services rushed to the Main Rd property just after 5pm.

Police officers and a coroner also attended the scene. The Advertiser understands that the man sustained a medical episode and could not be revived.
