Footage reveals strange moment Adelaide Metro bus parks across road in Munno Para

Footage of a bus sitting in the middle of an Adelaide road is sparking theories about what happened by Facebook users.

Bizarre footage has emerged on social media after an Adelaide Metro bus was spotted sitting across the width of an entire road in Adelaide’s northern suburbs over the weekend.

A social media user posted the video to Facebook group DashCams Adelaide on Monday, sparking a number of theories about the incident from commenters.

Footage shows a car driving off road to get around the bus, which appears to be stuck.

A spokesperson for Adelaide Metro said the bus became stranded on Sunday afternoon after the driver attempted a U-turn on Coventry Rd in Munno Para.

“A bus mechanic was called in and was able to move the bus after 30 minutes. There were no reported injuries,” he said.

The poster also suggested that the bus got stuck while attempting to do a U-turn.

“I’m guessing someone’s trying to do a u-ie and he’s turned the bus too sharp, so when these buses turn too sharp they have like a limit switch in the middle and then they just stop,” a person off camera said.

Dozens took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the incident.

One user commented: “Can’t park there mate”.

Adelaide Metro has apologised to any customers that may have been inconvenienced by the delayed service.
