Five teenagers charged with aggravated robbery and weapons offences after Glenunga and Kilburn break ins

A gang of five teenagers has been hit with a string of charges after police found a cache of dangerous weapons and stolen goods.

Four boys and a man have been charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly being found with a cache of violent weapons and stolen goods in Kilburn.

Just before 12.30am on Monday police were called to a business on Churchill Rd after a member of the public reported seeing people climbing through windows.

When police arrived a group of males were seen fleeing the scene.

Three boys and a man were located in nearby Brunswick St while another boy was found in a vehicle on Northcote St.

An investigation revealed the vehicle and group are alleged to have been involved in a robbery at Glenunga on Saturday.

Police searched the vehicle and found a knife, machete and extendible baton. Also discovered where items which were stolen during the Glenunga robbery.

An 18-year-old Enfield man has been charged with aggravated robbery, possessing prohibited weapons and breaching bail.

He was refused bail and will appear in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 17-year-old Mitchell Park boy was charged with aggravated robbery and breach of bail.

A 17-year-old Kilburn boy was charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated affray. A 17-year-old Parafield Gardens boy was charged with aggravated robbery.

All three boys were refused bail and will appeared in Adelaide Youth Court on Monday.

A 17-year-old Pooraka boy was charged with aggravated robbery and carrying an offensive weapon.

He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court in the new year.

Police continue to investigate the break in at the Churchill Rd business. Police do not believe the arrested group were involved in the incident.
