Two people have suffered serious facial burns when a gas bottle exploded at a camp ground south of Adelaide.

Five people have been taken to hospital, two in a serious condition, after a gas bottle exploded at a private camp ground in Myponga on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the camp ground near Nunn Rd, Myponga about 4.20pm.
A 25-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were flow to Royal Adelaide Hospital with facial burns.

An SA Ambulance spokeswoman said they were in a serious but stable condition.
Three more people were taken to hospital via ambulance.
