A classic car went up in flames after a shed fire, which racked up a $200,000 damage bill, caused parts of Blackwood, Belair and Glenalta to be covered by smoke.
Five Country Fire Service crews extinguished the blaze at a residential property on Main Rd, next door to the Belair Hotel.
Emergency services were called just after 3.30pm, and a CFS spokeswoman confirmed witness reports that a shed and a vintage 1960s-era car parked inside were “completely destroyed”.
No injuries were reported and fire cause investigators attended the scene.
