Major Crime detectives hope the vision and a recent offer of a $500,000 reward, will bring forward witnesses who can identify the nine men captured on the CCTV cameras on November 21 last year.

The vision shows the suspects - believed to be Hells Angels and their associates- running from the scene seconds after a number of shots were fired inside the workshop, killing Mr De Ieso.

Police believe the murder is linked to a dispute between the Finks and the Hells Angels motorcycle gangs.

Police stress that Mr De Iseo was an innocent bystander, caught up in the tensions.

Assistant Commissioner Paul Dickson said police had information nominating the possible identities of the nine men.

But he said the bikie code of silence and fear or retribution had left detectives just short of the information needed for arrests to be made.

Mr Dickson warned those involved the code of silence could not protect them.

"Through forensic examination, biometric testing of the CCTV and other evidence gathered, I believe it's only a matter of time before we will be able to positively identify these offenders," he said.

"I'm asking the public to look closely at this vision to see if you can identify any of the men.

"Of particularly interest is the CCTV which shows the hoodie of one man's jumper falling down as he runs from the scene. He clearly has a large scar on the back of his head and a tattoo on his neck. That is fairly distinct and somewhere, someone knows who he is."

Earlier this month, Police Minister Michael O'Brien announced a $500,000 reward for information about the murder - prompting information being provided to investigators.

"Police have a number of strategies available to protect people who wish to provide information. I encourage people to come forward; that small amount of information you have may be the key piece we need to arrest these individuals," Mr Dickson said.

Mr Dickson also appealed to the suspects themselves to contact police.

"There is currently a window of opportunity for one of the offenders to come forward and assist the police.

"But when Major Crime Detectives come knocking on your door to arrest you for murder, the chance you had to assist the investigation will be greatly diminished."

Mr De Ieso's famiy also released a written a public statement calling for people to come forward with answers.

The family described Mr De Ieso as a "family man who loved life and gave his heart to all of who came into contact with him."

"I stress Jason had no links to bikies apart from the released statement by police. He ran a custom paint and panel business in which his doors were open to all," the statement says.

"He dedicated all his efforts to produce remarkable results. He also did work for some Finks bikie members and associates, which does not mean he was one or was an associate.

"An innocent person, who had no involvement in any incidents which were occurring between the Finks and Hells Angels members."

The family said Mr De Ieso was a beloved husband, son and "brother to all".

"A father-to-be who will never know his child, see his first smile, hear the word 'Daddy' or hold his child.

"An innocent life taken by a cowardly and gutless act of criminal violence. Please don't let these criminals walk the street, for more innocent people will suffer while we continue to not report such crimes and talk to the police."

Anyone with information about the murder is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.sa.crimestoppers.com.au.

Police are also particularly interested to receive information about two cars believed to have been used in the murder - a white Mazda 2, found burnt out at Kangarilla later that day, and a white Nissan Pulsar Hatchback.
