YOUNG singer Ethan “Hiccups” Hall is getting behind our drought-stricken farmers - and he’s got a special guest to help him out.
Three years after he shot to fame when his version of Advance Australia Fair at an Adelaide Bite baseball game was interrupted by a bout of hiccups, Ethan, 10, will be joined by his younger brother Toby, 7, for a duet as part of a fundraiser for Australia’s struggling farmers.
“I haven’t done many performances with Toby, but I love singing duets with him and this gives him a chance to sing for a big audience too,” said the Mitchell Park boy.
“It’s also really nice to help the farmers... this is one way that I can help and use my music to make people feel happy.”
Ethan Hall and Friends - A Concert for the Farmers, at the Capri Theatre on November 18, will feature Ethan performing various Disney and Broadway show tunes, and will raise funds for Rural Aid’s Buy a Bale campaign.
Ethan was just seven in 2015 when he became a global online sensation. Video of his brave performance has been viewed thousands of times on YouTube and was picked up by websites around the world including the UK’s Sky News.
He has since performed at the Australia Day Concert at the Sydney Opera House and the Credit Union Christmas Pageant, as well as doing his own Fringe show, From Hiccups to Broadway, this year.
