84-year-old Salisbury East woman dies after Pooraka crash
An elderly woman has become the 105th life lost on SA roads this year after succumbing to injuries sustained in a serious crash at Pooraka almost two weeks ago.

An elderly woman has died in hospital almost two weeks after a two-car crash in the northern suburbs, nearly two weeks ago.
Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Main North and Montague Rd, Pooraka at about 9.30am, after reports of a two-car crash on November 17.
An 84-year-old female passenger in one of the cars was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment after sustaining serious injuries.
Police confirmed on Wednesday that she had died in hospital from her injuries.
A 58-year-old female driver from Para Hills, in a Holden station wagon, and a 31-year-old Hectorville woman in a Mercedes Benz, sustained minor injuries from the crash.
Major Crash officers attended and examined the scene for several hours, forcing road closures at the scene and in surrounding streets.
The woman’s is the 105th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year, compared to 63 at the same time last year.
The crash occurred hours before, Charlie Stevens – son of police commissioner Grant Stevens – was fatally by a car on Beach Rd, Goolwa during Schoolies, sparking a nationwide outpouring of emotion and support for the Stevens family.
