A car and truck have been involved in a serious crash about 20km north of Gawler on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Owen Rd, Magdala, just after 2pm, after reports of a two-vehicle crash.
Local resident Michelle Bockelberg told 7News she hasn’t seen “anything like that in a long time”
“I thought, oh my god, that’s crazy,” she said.
“Doesn’t look good for whoever was in the ute.
“There is no overtaking on that road and it’s a narrower road than a normal highway.”
SA Ambulance said the driver of the truck sustained neck and shoulder injuries, while the condition of the ute driver has not yet been confirmed.
It is understood family of one of the drivers has been at the scene.
