Motorists are being urged to be careful on the roads in Adelaide’s north and the hills this morning as fog reduces visibility in those areas.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a road weather alert.

“Reduced visibility in fog and low cloud may make road conditions dangerous this morning about the hills and northern suburbs,” it read.

SA Police advises people to slow down and take extra care when behind the wheel and maintain a safe distance from any vehicle in front.

They also encourage people to turn on their headlights.

Fog became a fixture for a few days in mid July, with both readers and the Advertiser’s photographers capturing amazing pictures.
