Driver fined after fishing boat falls off trailer on Main South Rd at Selicks Hill
A fishing boat has made an unscheduled port call on a busy highway south of Adelaide leaving a sea of commuters stranded.

A driver has been slapped with a fine after a large fishing boat she was towing fell from a trailer and caused early morning traffic chaos on a busy road south of Adelaide.
Just after 7am, police and emergency services were called to Main South Rd at Sellicks Hill after a boat had detached from a trailer and fallen in the middle of the road.
SA Police said they responded quickly to the incident with traffic restrictions in place for at least three hours while the scene was cleared.
The driver, a 28-year-old Sellicks Beach woman, was issued an expiation notice for insecure load and failing to maintain proper control of a motor vehicle.
