DOZENS of protesters have taken to the Adelaide City Council’s chambers to protest Tuesday night’s vote that could find the Frome St bikeway demolished.

The $1.6 million development which has been in use for little more than a year has divided commuters and cyclists.

Frome St was reduced from two traffic lanes to one to make room for the bikeway, parking and planter boxes.

Pedal power descended upon the council meeting on Tuesday night to ensure the bikeway stays rather than removing it at a cost.
