A CYCLIST has been killed in a crash with a car on Horrocks Highway in the state’s Far North.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident near the intersection of Horrocks Highway and Cemetery Rd outside the Quorn township just after 8.20am.
The 66-year-old man died from his injuries at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Horrocks Highway near Quorn remains closed to all traffic.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
The man’s death takes the State’s road toll to 30, three more than at the same time last year.
