A 52-YEAR-old man has sustained serious injuries after he was hit by a kangaroo while cycling in the Adelaide Hills.
A 52-YEAR-old man has sustained critical injuries after he was hit by a kangaroo while cycling in the Adelaide Hills.
The cyclist was biking along Norton Summit Rd at about 8.45am on Sunday when the kangaroo crashed into him, SA Police say.
He has been critically injured and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. The man, from Seaton, remains in a critical condition.
Norton Summit Rd was closed between Colonial Drive and Glen Stuart Rd but has since reopened.
Major Crash Investigators were examining the scene.
