A German national has died more than a week after he was involved in a serious motorcycle crash in the state’s Far North.
The rider crashed on the Oodnadatta Track, 36km west of Marree about 11.30am on May 18.
The 55-year-old suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by helicopter, where he remained with life-threatening injuries for over a week.
He died on Saturday.
Major Crash officers attended the scene and are investigating.
The man’s death is the 33rd life lost on SA roads compared with 41 at the same time last year.
