An Adelaide courier has been caught on camera carelessly tossing a package from the roadside to the door of a Richmond home, 7NEWS has reported.
But in a bizarre series of events, a PR agency representing online retailer Temu originally said the courier had been sacked, then said that was actually a different courier in Perth and the company needed to do an investigation.
The PR agency said there was “another similar case in Perth a few months ago” that resulted in a courier being sacked, and their official statement was: “We hold our delivery service providers to high standards and expect all packages to be handled with care. We will investigate the matter with our logistics partner.”
Mum of two Nikita said she went to check the security cameras after her husband heard something go bang outside, only to see the delivery driver throwing her online order and then driving off.

“If I didn’t have cameras on my house, how would I know the (delivery) person threw it ...or whoever sent it has sent it broken,” she told 7NEWS.
The package came from online retailer Temu and contained a children’s game, which she said luckily suffered no damage.
But the incident has left her questioning further online purchases.
“If I’m going to buy something more valuable, maybe I need to pay that extra money in a supermarket or a shopping complex than buying online,” she said.
