Police are appealing for witnesses after a girl was allegedly indecently assaulted in a northern suburbs petrol service station.

The man allegedly walked into the Munno Para West store on Sunday April 17 about 7.20pm and indecently assaulted the girl on Curtis Rd.

Patrols arrested the man later that night and charged the northern suburbs man, 31, with indecent assault and refused bail.

He is next expected to appear in court in August.

Detectives from the Northern District Crime Investigation Branch are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam vision at the service station at the time of the assault to come forward.

In a similar incident, a boy was allegedly indecently assaulted at Oakden last week.

The victim was walking along Whistler Drive about 4.15pm on Tuesday April 26 when he was approached by a stranger.

The man started talking to the boy and asking him questions before walking away.

As the boy continued walking east along Sir Ross Smith Boulevard the man approached him again and allegedly indecently assaulted him.

The boy ran off and was not injured.

Two days later, a Northgate man, 48, was arrested and charged with indecent assault.

He was refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.

Police have not linked the two incidents.

Anyone with information on either alleged attack should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
