2/24SA Little Legend William Calvert, 14, Goodwood Ccricket Club, won the U14 Batting Award. He was runner up Champion Player (lost by 0.8 per cent). He also filled in for Goodwood U16 in 10 games. He came 5th Top Performer, and 7th in the Champion Player. Every week he runs from U14 to U16 matches to ensure each team has enough players. Picture supplied.
3/24SA Little Legend Archie Edwards, 9, (pictured right), from Strong Heart Muay Thai (kickboxing), is a very determined boy who trains hard six days a week. He has had six fights in QLD and is very focused and ‘a great sportsman’. Picture supplied.

5/24SA Little Legend Bodhi Brown, 7, Marion Swimming Club. Showed courage and determination recently while completing his first 4x50m in front of an away crowd. Picture supplied.
6/24SA Little Legend Taite Pridham, 8, Yorkers / York Peninsula Basketball. Currently in his second season of basketball, he has grown in confidence on and off the court by playing in a team sport, having good people and coaches around him. Picture supplied.

8/24SA Little Legend Adam Pivato, 9, Metrostars played an outstanding game and scored an amazing matchwinning goal. Adam loves the game and shows great sportsmanship. He lives and breathes soccer and loves being out on the field. He always strives to do his best. Picture supplied.
9/24SA Little Legend Nina Bartlett, 9, plays soccer for Cumberland United Women’s Football Club where she is supported by wonderful coaches. She also plays soccer for her school, St John’s Grammar, Belair. Nina loves netball too, and plays in summer and winter competitions at school, for Westbourne Park Uniting Church Netball and South Adelaide Netball club. 10/24SA Little Legend Jackson Chadbourne-Jones, 9, West Torrens Baseball Club. Won his first premiership as a fourth generation player at the West Torrens Baseball Club. He was hit in the face while batting but overcame his fears of getting hit again to play in the grand final just two weeks later. Picture supplied.
11/24SA Little Legend Spencer Nabradi, 6, Francis Xavier / SFX Rovers (futsal). Spencer is ‘a very fast, ambitious little legend’, his last three futsal games he has scored three goals each game and gives his all every week. Picture supplied.
12/24SA Little Legend Jaanav Alwarappan, 10, Glenunga Rockets, has had a fantastic season of cricket with Glenunga Cricket Club. He scored a total of 371 runs from 15 matches, the highest in the U10 competition in the state. Picture supplied.
13/24SA Little Legend Lauren Young, 15, West Adelaide (AFLW), is a dedicated player and an asset to any team she joins. She recently kicked 3.1 and had 17 disposals. She won the U18 medal at 14 years. She leads the competition for disposals and marks. Picture supplied.
14/24SA Little Legend Marc Hallard, 11, Salisbury Inter (soccer), is playing an age-level up..Last year he won the team’s Best and Fairest award. So far this year, he has been trusted to take a penalty kick (even though he is the goalie) from which he scored. In his last match, he bounced back from an extremely hard hit to the head which took him down to the ground. He lives and breathes soccer and ‘his determination, resilience and pure passion will take him far’. Picture supplied.
15/24SA Little Legend Jack Briggs, 8 from Reynella Green in his second year of cricket, averaged two wickets a game (23 for the season) finishing the season with ‘a ripper game’ of 3/5 (4 overs), a run out and 17 runs off 13 balls. Jack is also a very accomplished AFL, soccer and basketball player. Picture supplied.
16/24SA Little Legend Liam Morrissey, 6, of Hope Valley Junior Football Club, took part in Auskick in 2020. He will be playing for the first time for Hope Valley Junior Football Club in Under 7s in 2021. Picture supplied.
17/24SA Little Legend Zach Paku, 5, Adelaide Cobras played his first soccer game and ‘tried his absolute best’. He was so wonderful at supporting his teammates on and off the field. Picture supplied.
18/24SA Little Legend Cooper Searle, 15, Adelaide Cricket Club. Made his debut in district cricket for the Adelaide Cricket Club in U16’s. 1st Innings 4/12, 3 maidens (8.4 overs), 2nd Innings, same day, 3/26 (6 overs). He was awarded ‘man of the match’. It is worth noting that Cooper tried out twice to get into district cricket for the ACC, so third time lucky. His family say they are proud of Cooper for his ‘determination and he never gave up’. 19/24Little Legend Nicholas Paparella, 15, from Christie’s Beach Hawks, is a great all-round team player who is always willing to help out at the club and in general. Nicholas plays in the U17, U19 and A2s and has represented Australia in the U15 side. He played in the Branson Missouri World Series and at its conclusion was picked in the representative world team. 20/24SA Little Legend Brody Wilson, 12, Hope Valley Football Club. Brody captained his U12's footy team and led them undefeated to the Grand Final. In the 4th quarter, with 90 seconds left on the clock, the Hope Valley U12's were five points down. Brody had possession of the ball when he was tackled which resulted in a free kick. Brody, from the eastern pocket, diagonally in front of goal, and kicked an accurate 'captain's goal' to sneak in front of TTG, helping his side win their first Grand Final by one point. 21/24SA Little Legend Alesha Placanica, 10, Clovercrest Swimming Club has become the fastest state 10-year-old in breaststroke after only joining the club late last year. Picture supplied.
22/24SA Little Legend Jacob Bament, 12, Golden Grove Primary School (athletics). First trialled for sprints and came in 5th place. He was also selected to run in the relay race. When Jacob received the baton his team was in 4th place. He caught up and got his team to 1st place. Jacob then came 3rd in the sprints. It was an amazing effort and a great sports day.
