CFS attends Kenton Valley burn off, with smoke blanketing the Hills and eastern suburbs

Eastern suburbs and Hills residents have woken to a smoky start after a number of controlled burns at the weekend.
Prescribed burns at Mount Compass and Cleland sent smoke billowing through the Hills and surrounding suburbs on the plains on Saturday and Sunday.
The CFS also notified of a burn-off at Kenton Valley, in the Mount Lofty Ranges, just after 7am on Monday morning.

The CFS says all fires are under control.
Another prescribed burn is planned for private land at Marble Hill historic site in the Mount Lofty Ranges for Monday.
