Adelaide weather: Thunderstorms, still wreaking havoc with Mannum Road at Tepko closed
Wild weather brought on by flash thunderstorms on Wednesday is still causing havoc, with a major rural road closed for two weeks due to flooding.

Mannum Road at Tepko in Murray Mallee is expected to be closed for up to two weeks following damage caused to the road surface by flooding.
It comes after wild weather lashed the Adelaide region on Wednesday, wreaking havoc in the hills.
Motorists are advised Mannum Road is closed between Wagenknecht Road and Tepko Road. Mannum Road is currently covered by a half metre of water and has caused extensive damage to the road surface.
Signage is in place for local traffic diversions.
B-double truck drivers are urged to check for alternative routes here.
There are no alternative routes for road trains.
Reedy Creek Road which runs adjacent to Mannum Road has also been damaged by flood waters about 200 metres south of Law Road. Diversions are being put in place at this location also.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to not attempt to drive through flood waters.

Wild weather including rain, hail and thunderstorms lashed parts of Adelaide on Wednesday, making for icy conditions on major roads including the South-Eastern Freeway.
Cars were reportedly spinning into arrester beds on the freeway and trucks struggled to accelerate on the uptrack, with speeds slashed to 40km/h for safety.
No injuries were reported, SA Police said.

The left-hand lane on the freeway uptrack before Crafers was shut due to a breakdown. Cars were diverted up Eagle on the Hill, but have since resumed a normal traffic flow.
Mount Lofty recorded a staggering 59.6mm of rain between 9am and 3.30pm on Wednesday, marking close to half of its September average rainfall in one day, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. Crafers West collected 65mm since 9am.
Heavy hail also covered Cleland Wildlife Park at Crafers on Wednesday afternoon, as thunderstorms continued to roll in for the rest of the day.
Motorists heading for the Hills are still advised to drive to the conditions and be cautious.
