Car stuck on O-Bahn near Modbury, more than 50 services impacted
A car has blocked the O-Bahn in Adelaide’s northeast with more than 50 services in both directions diverted.

A car has been driven on to the O-Bahn bus route in Adelaide’s northeastern suburbs and become stuck, forcing buses to divert to alternate routes.
Police responded after a woman drove on to the O-Bahn at Modbury just after 10am on Friday.

The woman was removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital as a precaution.
Emergency crews are removing the vehicle from the tracks.
Bus services are being diverted via the road network between Tea Tree Plaza and Paradise, mainly using Lower North East Road and North East Road.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has issued a statement following the incident.
“This closure may cause some minor delays to services, however, no stops are being missed,” a DIT spokesman said.
“More than 50 O-Bahn services have so far been impacted by the incident.
“This incident is expected to be cleared within the next hour.”
The DIT spokesman said people should “take note of the signage” and “be mindful when travelling nearby entrances to the O-Bahn”.
