Traffic is down to one lane along a section of Currie St near Light Square in Adelaide’s CBD after a collision between a car and two buses on Wednesday morning.
Debris covered the road and a white Mitsubishi Colt was left crumpled after the incident about 9.30am.
Bus driver Chuan Zhao, 57, said he was driving along Currie St toward the city with about 20 passengers when the Mitsubishi tried to go around a parked bus to its left and hit his bus to the right.
“The car was sandwiched between the buses,” Mr Zhao said.
“I pulled up and I was shocked.”
There were no injuries to the drivers of the car or buses, nor to their passengers.
Following the incident, the female driver and passenger of the Mitsubishi were seen standing on the side of the road in distress.
