Armed man on the run after violent assault in Paralowie

The man assaulted the victim in Adelaide’s north, who was sitting in a blue Honda Jazz, before fleeing with the car keys.

An armed man is on the run after an assault in the car park of a fast food takeaway restaurant on Bolivar Rd around 1am on Friday.

The man assaulted the victim, who was sitting in a blue Honda Jazz, before fleeing with the car keys.

The victim stayed in his car until 2:45am when the man returned and tried to steal the car before running off.

The victim got the man out of the car but was assaulted again in the process. He sustained a minor injury to his hand.

The suspect, described as tall, of caucasian appearance and a slim build, was seen running north on Bolivar Rd.

He was wearing a dark North Face jacket, light coloured pants, black slides and had white headphones hanging from his jacket.
